Clarification on Nextcloud Installation in TrueNAS Plugin

Hello Nextcloud Community,

I hope you are all doing well. I have a question regarding the installation of Nextcloud within the TrueNAS plugin. Specifically, I would like to know if the Nextcloud installation through the plugin is the all-in-one (AIO) version or a standalone setup.

My reason for asking this question is to determine whether the following components are included in the Nextcloud installation via the TrueNAS plugin:

  • Nextcloud Office
  • High-performance backend for Nextcloud Files
  • High-performance backend for Nextcloud Talk
  • Backup solution (based on BorgBackup)
  • Imaginary (for previews of HEIC, TIFF, and WebP)
  • ClamAV (Antivirus backend for Nextcloud)
  • Fulltextsearch

I greatly appreciate any information or insights you can provide regarding this matter. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

There does not seem to be any maintained public code/buildrecipe repo of the nextcloud plugin.
From information in the forums over there, they are using a severely outdated nextcloud version in their ports tree. In more recent posts people seem to install it via docker. (People as in users on their own, not the plugin system automatically.)

I’ve always wondered what it is, but I doubt it is AIO. Unsure, but ask truenas forum or read their documentation.
