Can't log into web interface, but desktop clients working fine

My desktop clients are logged in no problem, and I can log out and relogin through them no issue, but when I try to login through the web portal I am unable to.

I’m not sure what the issue is. It doesn’t even give me a screen saying “wrong password” or whatever. It just refreshes.

I’m on NC 16. Last time I used the web client was to update to 16, and to my knowledge that all went through without hitch.

I checked my nc error messages and found this for today:

I have also tried resetting the password using occ and that has not worked. There is something deeper wrong going on here

EDIT: thought it might be fail2ban but that doesn’t seem to be the issue as I’ve shut it down and I’m still hitting problems.

What about your nginx/apache error logs, are there any clues?

The issue seemed to have resolved itself once I rebooted the machine.
I had tried that previously but a second time seemed to do the trick. Other than that, I’m not sure what caused the issue in the first place.
