Can't connect hard drive to next cloud

Hello,
So my first time with next cloud , using it on debian.
Mounted a hard drive media/user/harddrivename
but couldn’t connect it in local storage , I could connect media/user thought,
but couldn’t see any files in it

Next cloud version , latest
Debian 12
Apache/2.4.57

Please post more details e.g. screenshots, configurations and mount options.

One problem can be that rights of the destination directory must be set to your apache2/nextcloud - user www-data and group www-data. Please check this first.

I think you have read External Storage and Local.
