Cannot find host on Android to connect from Librewolf as well on the program installed

Nextcloud version: 29.0.4
Operating system and version: Windows 11
PHP version, I can’t check it out :frowning: (which pisses me off)
Browser Librewolf
Storage System Docker Desktop
Tutorial “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro4V4cvIi4M”

I also forgot to mention HTTPS being a thing, despite having it enabled to all windows.

The issue you are facing:

I’m using Docker Desktop as a storage system to have more space for my music, but it seems it doesn’t allow me to have my android connected to it when using a QR code. And on PC it doesn’t let me find a better way to get log in bcs it doesn’t find the host

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Do the tutorial on Librewolf: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro4V4cvIi4M”

The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

Attempts to access my mobile phone to the cloud storage

I’m not sure if it’s enough

Just a guess, but in the video he accesses Nextcloud via https://localhost, which would then also be the URL provided by the QR code, and this obviously cannot work from your phone or any other device except the device on which Nextcloud is installed.

So you should use your PC’s IP address when connecting from other devices, instead of localhost, or your domain name if you also followed the part in the video about getting Let’s Encrypt certificates. The latter would also require properly working DNS on your local network so that your devices can resolve your PC’s IP address when using the domain name.

Is there a step by step way to make it happen?
