I think an online NextCloud installation syncs from the local system, to the NextCloud installation. Can that work the other way? Can I sync from NextCloud to the local system?
Nextcloud sync in general works two-way. On the very first sync tit might be the case you upload some existing data to the server but from this point on both systems are kept in sync and every change is expected to replicate pretty fast - if you add/change/delete a file either on the server or on the client the new state arrives on the other side… and if you connect new client to existing server initial sync copies all the files from the server to the client…
