Hello,

I’m looking for a way to integrate a booking system that works via caldav.
Situation: People booking timeslots in a house that has multiple rooms. I now want an overview which room is booked when. Like the rooms are user accounts and you invite them like “big meeting room” and then you could filter for this room.

I’m aware that theres an app for this, but I want it to work without using the webinterface. One way could be to have the rooms as separate user accounts and invite them, but how to do that via caldav / email.

You do need to create the rooms via the extra app. There is one change that is needed to the code that is not in yet that would make commands to share those rooms to users. I havent had the time to create a patch for the commands needed. If someone wants to do that i can assist in what needs to be done to make it work. (That would also enable public link share)
