Calendar push notifications not working

I recently upgraded to Nextcloud 18.0.3, which upgraded my calendar to 2.0.3. When I went into the server settings and went into Groupware, I saw a setting I think I had never seen before:

Enable notifications for events via push

I turned this feature on, and my wife entered an event in our shared calendar, and the Nextcloud app on my iPhone got a push notification.

The problem I am facing is that I am unable to duplicate these results. I added a few more events to the shared calendar, and no notifications were pushed to my iPhone or my iPad.

What am I doing wrong here?

Ok, I installed the "
Notifications for calendar event updates " from the app store, and now I am getting push notifications of calendar updates MOST of the time. So, I think I am OK.
