Calendar dav sync with Google stopped to work

Hi,
in those days my calendar has stopped to work.
Seems the calendar are not reading anymore the Google Calendar and all event disappeared from the nextcloud calendar.

I tried to remove and readd calendar but when I add I get now the error that was not possibile create the calendar.

When I refresh the page the calendar has been created but is not sync.

Nextcloudversion: [Nextcloud Hub 8]((29.0.5)
Calendar app version: 4.7.16

What could be?
I tried also to unistall and reinstall the app again but this never resolve.

I don’t see any particular log on the nextcloud.log when I add the calendar and get error.

Check your Google-account, whether the permission by “unsecure” apps has been suspended.

Where? This option has not been revoked by Google?
I cannot see in my account and also the calendar is read only.

I also tried to export and import the calendar but is not working, events are not added. This maybe has been caused by some upgrade of Nextcloud and Calendar?

All was working and stopped working and maybe I have done an upgrade some day ago.

From the server log I find

Error 403 MKCOL
remote.php/dav/calendars/username/calendargooglecom-1 HTTP/1.0

This is the error I see in the server log when I add the Google calendar with the iCal link

Have you tried to search for “Error 403 MKCOL” on the Internet? I foulnd the following matches which are all seem to point to a kind of access/permission issue:

Yes I already searched also on Google and on the community.
Nothing seems is helping.
Now checking the server error logs I find error issue
[core:crit] (13)Permission denied: AH00529: pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable and that '/data/' is executable
Maybe some permission errors? But I never touched server file and folder permissions.

I don’t know well how to resolve.

Did you check the .htaccess file as suggested in the error message?

Yes, the file is there. I don’t see anything strange.

So, start checking the access rights.

Under which user is your webserver running?
What are the EXACT access rights of the data folder?
What are the EXACT access rights of the .htaccess file?

the folders and files results associated to the current server user
data folder has permission: rwxrwx— (0770)
data/.htaccess has permission: rw-r–r-- (0644)

Now for the calendar I get, when i try to add again:

429 MKCOL remote.php/dav/calendars/user/calendargooglecom HTTP/1.0

This seems means too many request.

Now the error is
403 remote.php/dav/calendars/user/calendargooglecom

I’m able to reproduce also in a new installation.
I think it’s a bug introduced with the update.
Now I have to find where report it.
Seems on GitHub I cannot report as I opened this topic and the template let me accept I have checked the issue has not been reported on GitHub or in community.

I created an issue on GitHub [Bug]: Calendar dav sync iCal with Google stopped to work after the NextCloud and Calendar update · Issue #47544 · nextcloud/server · GitHub

I’m the only one that are experiencing issue with the Google Calendar Sync in NextCloud?
