Bug Report: Missing Activity in Deck Sidebar

Hello Nextcloud community,

I’d like to report an issue I’ve encountered with the Deck app.

Environment:

  • Nextcloud version: 31.0.5
  • Deck version: 1.15.1
  • Browsers tested:
    • Firefox 140.0.4
    • Chromium 137.0.7151.119

Bug Description:

When moving a task (card) between columns — for example, from “To Do” to “In Progress”, or to “Done” — no activity is logged in the Activity panel on the right-hand sidebar. Normally, I would expect to see a line such as “User X moved card Y from column A to column B”, but nothing appears.

However, if I open the card details view, the activity is correctly shown there. This inconsistency makes it difficult to quickly track changes at a glance using the sidebar.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Deck app with multiple columns (e.g. To Do, In Progress, Done).
  2. Move a card from one column to another.
  3. Check the Activity panel in the right sidebar — no entry appears.
  4. Open the card details — the activity is shown there as expected.

Expected Behavior:

The activity (e.g. card moved from one column to another by a specific user) should be displayed consistently in the Activity panel on the sidebar, as it was in previous versions.

Additional Notes:

  • This behavior occurs in both Firefox and Chromium, so it doesn’t appear browser-specific.
  • It may have been introduced in a recent update, as I recall this working correctly before.

Please let me know if you need any logs or further information to help reproduce the issue.

Thanks for your great work and support!
