App notes with bug and synchronization error, even with a stable signal on both Wi-Fi and mobile data, the error occurs and is duplicating the saved notes, leaving a complete mess, g I would like to know if it is really a bug.

Iā€™m getting this too. ā€œSynchronization failedā€ on the note and then it starts making a bunch of numbered copies. When I refresh it makes more copies.

This problem is related to

  1. Nectcloud version and the version of the installed Notes app.

  2. Check if Nextcloud is using the browser and going to Notes when creating it. I havenā€™t had any errors on Android or iPhone.

  3. Check the app version on your device. If thereā€™s an error syncing or duplication, itā€™s the cause of version v4.12.3. Go back to the previous version v4.12.2 in the apps.

I had this problem, and it was a bug with Nextcloud, not Notes.

Nextcloud error - I had to completely uninstall Nextcloud and remove any files to do a clean install, and it worked.

After installing the latest Nextcloud, the Notes app came out with a new version and kept giving a sync error. The reason was the Android version of the app I use, and I went back to the previous version, which is v4.12.2.

Everything is fine with this version.

Iā€™ve been getting this as well on the current version of notes on Android. Anyone file an official bug/repair item on this?

Thank you - new to the community but not software dev - so wanted to make sure I didnā€™t pollute the waters until I got the lay of the land for feedback.

Never worked for me, notes.

Now it only makes 20 copies of first note.

Deleted the app immediately

Hi, On Android you canā€™t choose which app version to install. Also 4.5.1. is installed

I previously had the duplication issue, however since updating my server (now version 32.0.0 on Unraid), notes application within nextcoud (version 4.12.3) and my app (now 4.5.1 - Android) it fails to sync all together.

When you try to click ā€˜more informationā€™ on the failed sync, it crashes the app.

Makes this app impossible to use, and have to rely on Google notes instead. Apparently the IOS version is smooth sailing as well, very frustrating.
