Summary of the issue you are facing:

Since upgrading to 30.0.6, I do not seem to get any content displayed on the nextcloud home page. I get the cloud background and the nextcloud logo in the top left corner, but nothing else.

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

Tips for increasing the likelihood of a response

  • Use the preformatted text formatting option in the editor for all log entries and configuration output.
  • If screenshots are useful, feel free to include them.
    • If possible, also include key error output in text form so it can be searched for.
  • Try to edit log output only minimally (if at all) so that it can be ran through analyzers / formatters by those trying to help you.

Are there any errors under the Network tab of the browser inspector when loading the page?

Does the problem also present itself in a different browser?

No errors at all under the Network tab - just loads of green 200 responses. the only errors were under the Console.

I’ve tried doing the repair from CLI and also trying to update from CLI, both without any success. I’ve also tried rebooting the machine, again without success.

I assume you have already tried all of the following…

  • a different browser
  • private/incognito mode
  • refreshing without cache using CTRL+F5
  • Cleared your browser cache, website data etc.
  • Disabled all browser plugins, especially ad and script blockers

Yes to all of the above…except this one:

  • refreshing without cache using CTRL+F5

…which seems to have fixed it. Which is very weird as I completely cleared the cache, and tried a browser I had never used for accessing nextcloud.

I already had similar issues after an upgrade, and the problem came from opcache. Restarting PHP-FPM did the trick.
