On a server of mine I installed nextcloud.
On my home net all data are on a netgear readynas.
I want to use the nextcloud server as a backup/sync server for the data on the nas shares. What is the best way to accomplish that?

install nextcloud client on the nas? the nas hasn’t a gui, is it still possible to have the client running on it?

install nextcloud clien on a pc on the net? the pc mounts the nas shares with nsf, is the nextcloud able to sync them to the nextcloud server?
