We are looking for an up-to-date app for syncing sms communications to Nextcloud 29
I have seen both NextclouSMS and phone sync but non of them supports versions later than 20.
Is there any way to sync sms from the phone to Nextcloud for the newer versions of Nextcloud. It must support both Android users and iPhone users.

There seems to be no running SMS sync app available at the moment, but users reported in the project related issue tracker that they got it working with NC 30.x. Therefore you might think about hiring a developer to get it supported on a newer version.

Just out of curiosity, who prefers using SMS messaging over Signal, Whatsapp etc.? I think I personally have written my last SMS years ago.

We are a municipality and sometimes our citizens are texting our workers, We reply by the secure official communication sytem “Digital Post”. By law we are obliged to register all communicatioon in the case register system and thus we are obliged to register the text messages our workers recieve from the citizens.
