Lets say I use a usb Hdd as data drive. NCP.
If I use snapshot and sync them to an other drive.
In case of a drive crash, Is it possible to recover all data to an other drive using snapshot or do I have to have a complete data backup?

The btrfs snapshot contain only all of the NC’s users and their files.
You also need to use nc-backup to create a backup of NC installation files and the database. Enable nc-backup-auto and sync it to external and you have everything you need to restore from.
You can exclude data from that backup, it’s already in the snapshots.
