Just tried to enable the automatic file upload on my Google Pixel 6a after installing the memories app. Following auto upload configuration the previously greyed out cloud symbol gets a light blue border, but still no files are uploaded.
Already disabled battery saving and enabled access to photos and videos for the app, plus rebooted the device, but still no success. Any additional hints / tweaks to fix this?
Thx
Andreas
Did you make photos since then? If not, try it and have a look into the submenu “Uploads” from menu. Sometimes it may happen, that it can take several minutes until upload starts.
Thanks for the hint. Indeed it took quite some minutes and only new photos seem to be uploaded.
Works as designed at the beginning.
If you go to “Settings” in the Nextcloud app, select “Automatic uploads” and tap on the three dots at the right, a menu will open and there is an item, to enable “Upload existing pictures”.
This can be done with “Camera” (pictures) and “Camera” (Video).
Upload of existing media and 2-way sync don’t (seem to) work for me, but I’m fine with the automatic push / move of new media files.
Thx
Andreas
I don’t know, whether 2-way-sync really is implemented.
