I added to that Github issue, to try to get clairification on what that now limits Nextcloud to. Seems like this may now hamstring Nextcloud on Android. 
Does this apply too all android versions or just the newer ones.?
I love this feature as it keeps my mobile space empty.
As I did not get this warning message on android 9 phone, only on android 14.
What about giving NC client root access
