Assigning Tasks to other members

So I was wondering if you could uses task among a group setting where you can assign tasks to another member in a group? Like I want to create a task and be able to assign it to another person in my group. Is this possible?

If a users allows you to write to his personal calendar you would be able to create tasks for him. Unfortunately this is normally not desired. A second option would be to use the Deck app to manage these kind of tasks (I’ve personally not tested it :wink:)

I am certain I want to revive this thread, yes.

This would still be a nice addition to the task organizer app in NC. Teams around the world would relish this functionality. If it isn’t possible to implement directly without giving out calendar writing permissions to others, maybe something could be done in the likes of “knocking” at someone else’s calendar’s front door. I mean, in a way, asking the other person to accept the task assignment. Only then would it be written to their own calendar.
