I can’t use an application password for connecting to Nextcloud with Firefox, only main password allows to connect. I suspect it’s expected behaviour. Isn’t ?
I would like to use an application password for getting Contacts and Agenda pages without having to enter a password.
Nextcloud version : 12.0.3
Operating system and version : Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Client: Firefox 52 on Centos 7 and Firefox 56 on Ubuntu 17.04
i’m not sure if i understood it correctly… how do you want to access contacts and “agenda pages” (what do you mean by that? caloendars?)
Yes it’s a calendar page. I access it with an URL like:
https://my.server/nextcloud/index.php/apps/calendar/
It’s my firefox starter page.
well in this case i’m afraid app-passwords prolly won’t help you much further b/c you’re accessing the service not via an app but via the web-interface.
