App passwords expire

Operating system and version: Ubuntu 20.04.2
nginx version: nginx/1.18.0 (Ubuntu)
PHP version: 7.4.18

I’ve noticed that I have to create new app passwords every now and then because the old ones don’t work anymore.

Is this a known bug or why do the app passwords no longer work after a few weeks / months?

at the moment I can’t confirm this. I’m using app password for months and didn’t change them even after major update. how often do you see this issue?

This is now the 3-4 times that I have to replace the expired app passwords.
