Any upcoming features for Nextcloud Forms and Polls

Which general topic do you have

Hello everyone,
I use Nextcloud Forms and Polls within my team, especially for gathering opinions on projects. In recent months, the demand for these tools has increased, and several departments have also expressed interest in using them - however, with more advanced requirements.
Some of the requested features include:

matrix questions: dynamic follow-up questions based on previous answers (e.g., a new question appears if “No” is selected in previous)
grouping of questions for better structure complex surveys
use of templates
Are there any plans for an upcoming update to Nextcloud Forms or Polls that would integrate these or similar features? I would appreciate any insights from the community or updates on the roadmap.

your requests are already tracked for Forms. However, I can’t tell you when they will be implemented. But you’re more than welcome to start working on it

Please describe.** No it's not.… **Describe the solution you'd like** > Like if you answered yes to question A, you go to question B otherwise question C ? **Describe alternatives you've considered** There's not real alternative as there is no logic supported currently. **Additional context** I'm a UX researcher and use creating long, or complicated questionnaires a lot. Being able to use conditional logic allows to direct the user down pre-defined paths is very important for me. I understand this might be complicated/a lot of work to implement. There's also a lot of ways to implement this so I think it requires time to discuss. If there is a possibility of this being implemented I can give lots of context!

## Feature request Support form pagination ## Rational When designing large… questionnaires/forms, using pagination (where the questionnaire is broken up into mulitple pages) helps the user by: - breaking the tasks into sub-tasks allowing them to focus on one-a small number of questions at a time - reducing the users cognitive load (less to intrepret) - reducing distractions (scrolling up and down the page) ## UI There's lots of ways of doing this. I can do some research into different approaches, but essentially it will: - allow the user to create pages - give it a title - possible a short description It would also be really great if it supported conditional logic (that's another ticket - #358 or maybe #227) There are many options on how to display this, but can help with designs if it helps. ## Priority High As a user researcher who creates questionnaires having questions that can gather ranking data is very important - however I can understand this is a lot of design and a lot of work to implement. I'm happy to help out with this. There's also a lot of ways to implement this so I think it requires time to discuss. Thoughts?

You can already achieve this by creating your Form as a template, close/archive it and then use the “Copy form” action to create new forms from that template Other than that, theres also a feature request:

Please describe.** I run a few regular events, each of which has a pre-questionnaire and a follow-up feedback form. These are piling up in my forms app. **Describe the solution you'd like** I'd like to set up set of template forms and when creating a new one, just select a template and customize it as needed instead of hunting in my list for the right blank form to copy. I'd also like to separate these into folders by related event, and possibly even sub-folders (would be great here to filter folders by time period instead.) **Describe alternatives you've considered** In lieu of templates I've been text from one form to another (or most recently, copying a blank form since that feature's been introduced.) Instead of using folders, I could create different users for different events, but I'd rather do this all as my normal user. Thank you!

thank you for your response! It’s great to hear that these requests are already being tracked for Forms. I also find it quite interesting how high the demand for this feature seems to be.
As a Forms enthusiast I’m happy that these features are more likely to be added in Forms .

At the moment, I don’t have the capacity to work on this myself, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on updates and future developments.
