Any fix for confused quotas in Nextcloud 14.0.2?

update: Everything’s fine, my fault. I recently moved my nextcloud data partition and it was nearly full. I was looking at the wrong filesystem when I issued df. The quotas were telling the truth in terms of free space. Sorry for the static.

Nextcloud version: 14.0.2
Operating system and version: ubuntu Devuan GNU/Linux ascii
Apache or nginx version:2.4.25-3+deb9u6
PHP version : 7.0.30-0+deb9u1

The issue you are facing:
Nextcloud doesn’t recognize individual user quotas after upgrading from 13.x. Some users have individual quotas, some unlimited. Have reset all user quotas to Unlimited and still NC is still reporting “old” user quotas and warning people. Tried upgrading to 14.0.4 through the Web gui but clicking Open Updater results in the error message “Could not start updater, please try the manual upgrade”.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error?: No, it happed in NC 12 as well but the fix no longer works

Steps to replicate it:

  1. approach your user quota
  2. login as admin and change user quote from 30G to 100G
  3. logout, log back in as user and quota is still 30G
  4. restart entire server, quota is still 30G
  5. login as admin, set all user quotas to “unlimited”
  6. logout, log back in as user and quota is still 30G

I rarely get a response anymore on this forum so not going to spend time on more details for now. If you are genuinely interested in investigating this problem I will gladly spend more time supplying details.
