Android share file: There are no Nextcloud accounts on your Device. Please set up an account first

I setup a NextCloud instance and logged in with the app. I don’t see an option to upload files or turn on Camera Upload.

When I go to the file manager on my Samsung S8 phone and share a file from there and pick NextCloud it gives an error that there are no accounts, even though I logged in.

I encountered the same problem.

  • Nextcloud is installed in a Ubuntu server in a private network.
  • Accessed from Android phone which install Netcloud app.
I have singed in from the Android app and can see uploaded files, but can’t upload image data.
And, tried sharing image data to Netcloud and the same message was displayed.

Please let me know if you have some points which I should look into.

Delete the app and install the app again.
Test your nextcloud with another device.

I tried this, but couldn’t access the server.
‘Server not found’ is displayed on my phone…

I tried this again and succeeded to enter the trial account.
I succeeded upload phots from my Android phone.
When I enter the account the following message was appeared. (this is not displayed in my server
case)
“Allow Next cloud to access photos, media and file and files on your device”
Any setting in the server might be needed…
