Android "cooking book" application login

Hello,

I am using the “cooking book” Android mobile application beside “Notes” and “Nextcloud” application, with 2 or more differents logins.

I just wonder if the “Cooking Book” (Livre de Cuisine in French) application could take befenits of the login feature of the other two applications.

In “Notes” and “Nextcloud” application, once logged with several different users, it’s really easy to switch from one user to another. On the “Cooking Book” application, you have to unlog and to re-log each time you change user.

Hi @GenieDuvent welcome to the Nextcloud community :waving_hand:

grafik

sounds like you’re suggesting/requesting a feature for the cookbook app? please consider placing your request on the developers Github, as most devs don’t hang out on the community forum. feel free to add your feature request there Issues · nextcloud/cookbook · GitHub if there isn’t a similar request already

Hello @GenieDuvent,

actually I do hang in the forums .

The point is, that you are addressing at the wrong location: I am maintaining the cookbook app as you install within Nextcloud. The server plugin that also provides the web frontend.
All Android/iOS/similar clients are 3rd party. We only offer a neutral API but that’s it. So, regarding the Android app, you would have to get in touch with the original maintainer of your app in question.

We have a list of these 3rd party apps linked but this list might be outdated/incomplete. I am not actively monitoring play store, apple store and everything else. (I have better things to do )

Cheers
Christian
maintainer of the cookbook app

Thanks a lot Christian,
I already have posted to the github nextcloud/android project.
I guess we can close this thread.
