Android client app wrongly reports "no internet connection"

Nextcloud Android app v 3.34.0 (and previous) on an Android 14 (and previous), Samsung OneUI v 6.1, Android security patch up to 01Jun2025. App has login to connect to Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.8) via AIO v11.7.0.

The Android app keeps on wrongly stating “No internet connection” when other apps are perfectly happy to download RSS feeds, Google News, emails via Gmail, etc. The Nextcloud app seems sometimes to wait for up to 3 minutes before it slowly dawns on the app that there is an internet after all. Where possible to test on some instances, the Nextcloud server is working normally at these times, patiently waiting for data from clients. The Android app seems to be in its own fantasy world of no internet.

What are the next dianogistic steps?

Same issue here. I can connect with my computer perfectly fine to the Nextcloud server, but can’t on the android app.

Install the previous version from F-Droid after removing the current version.
