Hello Nextcloud community.
Testing Nextcloud right ow and have some questions about mobile sync behaviour.
Upload get stuck on the last camera picture to upload “waiting for upload” for ages.
Wifi and mobile data is fine (Onedrive does the same job instantly)
Any Idea ?

Still have issue with nextcloud instant upload on Android :
some photo from camera are even not uploaded at all
as you can see photo named 20251107_162130.jpg has not been uploaded but the one I took just after has been uploaded … why ? screenshot shows nextcloud uploads and the other one the list of pictures in dcim/camera folder of the phone
What about the messages in the upper left corner right of the time. Do they belog to Nextcloud? - Maybe Nextcloud app waits for an action.
Those notification has nothing to do with nextcloud.
5 hours later the missing picture have still not been uploaded.
Newer ones have… so there is clearly an issue
Did you find relating error messages in /var/log/webservername/access.log and /var/log/nextcloud.log?
Where ? On the android ?
No, on the server. - The Andrid device has a different folder structure.
Nothing spécial to say on the log.
And the file has still not been uploaded since.
Did you reboot the device, while it was “waiting” to upload?
Did you grant access to all files in the settings?
Did you check the upload-settings, that there is
What version of the android app is installed on your device?
Did you install the app from Google Play oder F-Droid?
I recommend to install an older version from F-Droid after removing the app.
The version 3.29.2 works fine for me.
