Attaching S3 external storage/bucket seemed a little wonky.
Trying to configure external storage to “existing” S3 bucket would not work.
But…
Configuring a “new” S3 bucket in same region works.
Then you can go back into NC S3 external storage configuration you just set up for
the new bucket and just change the bucket name from new bucket you just created and
change it to the existing bucket that you really wanted to connect with originally.
Save and it then connects to the old existing bucket. go to S3 delete temp new bucket.
Hope that made sense, wonky but works. Only way I could figure out to connect to
existing S3 buckets
