Am I going mad, the "Details" option is gone from the file context menu

Nextcloud version (eg, 12.0.2): 15.0.5
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 17.04): Ubuntu 18.04
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): nginx
PHP version (eg, 7.1): 7.3

The issue you are facing:

Very strange, but as the title, the “Details” option is gone from the “All files” listing page (if you click on the … icon) - I only get “Add to favourites”, Rename, Move or Copy, Download and Delete!

However it is there if I browse the “Recent” files listing (and also if I add it to favourites then browse that, the menu is there correctly too).

Fresh install, no extra plugins enabled.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y

Same here. NC 15.0.10, PHP 7.3 (fpm), Apache 2.4. Some investigations:

  • All views (all ‘shared’ sections, recent files, favorites) show the ‘details’ entry, only ALL FILES does not.
  • click on the file icon (used to open the details pane) doesn’t do anything.
  • When opening a file in Collabora, the ‘…’ icon above shows ‘details’ but the details pane doesn’t open.

Even with loglevel 2 there are no log entries I’d deem related.

Strange is that sometimes after some use the problem disappears for a while, I could not relate it to a distinct action.

What should I check to narrow this problem down? I would vaguely suspect the problem came with the update from 14.x to 15.x. At least I did not notice it in 14.x.
