Hi,
just want to say, you are not allone, I observe the same message.
On my site I keep it on the “observation list”, no further action taken, system up and running.

OK.

Thx for your input.

Same error here, I didn’t know why… my php.ini memory_limit is 1024 MB.

In my case, i am running nextcloud 31.0.8

Same Error here, php.ini memory limit at 2G, running version 31.0.9 at the moment on AlmaLinux 9.6 with PHP 8.4.13 in a VM with 6GB RAM assigned.

Please advise.

Seems to be this issue:

After applying command sudo -u www-data php /var/www/nextcloud/occ db:add-missing-indices, error Request used more than 300MB of RAM: 413.2 MB stopped appearing in the log.
Is there a connection between the two?

Update: this error still appears in the logs.

Hard to say. It seems to be a global usage, it might be some app or something taking more. In the github topic, you find a few hints that the recognize app makes it more likely.

Best is to follow the github to see what the intended purpose of this log entry was, if it is really pointing to a potential error.
