After update - Windows taskbar moved

It has been noticed on three Windows 10 PCs that after an update of Nextcloud, the taskbar is on the left instead of the bottom.

Doesn’t windows let you choose the location of the task bar? And you can just change it to the location you prefer?

That a software install changes that, I haven’t seen this with the Nextcloud client myself, neither have I read here. I think there would be plenty of people complaining.

Yes, you can choose freely.
Now that there are three people, the position has simply changed.

I’ve had the same issue on the last few updates. It’s not a big deal as you can simply move it back but it is weird as there is absolutely no reason for it to do so.

I haven’t seen reports on the bug tracker. You may create a new issue there:

If the problem does not appear on all systems, it can be hard to figure out the circumstances where this bug appears so it can be reproduced and fixed.
