Wouldn’t it be good to know which “error” is being displayed and what related errors are most likely been written to the Nextcloud log file?!

I have updated the error message to be displayed than hidden in my opening post.

I think the error message indicates a problem with your MySQL/MariaDB database (SQLSTATE) and has nothing to do with the newly configured Redis access.

If I understand the message correctly the reported problem is related to a database cluster configuration problem, as described here:

I would expect that if you fix your database configuration, you should get rid of the error message :wink:
