Summary of the issue you are facing:
I imported the downloaded file and starting the VM in the VirtualBox. Thereafter I captured User and Password. Then I want to connect to NC by entering IP-Address (nothing happenes in Desktop Client, Browser as well as Android Client.
IP is within my network range. Ping shows the server as available.
Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):
