Hello,
Noticed that Administration Privileges Administration - Users no more exist on nextcloud v33 in Administration Settings - Administration Privileges
Is this setting located elsewhere ?
Thanks for your help ![]()
Still exists. Same spot.
I never used the feature and maybe I miss some existing guardrails but âuser adminâ rights basically allows the limited admin the right to escalate own privileges which is the same as giving full admin from the beginning?
I donât see in my 2 instances as well
this is what I have:
Overview - Security & setup checks
Support
Basic settings - Background jobs
Basic settings - Email server
Sharing
Sharing - Federated Cloud Sharing
Sharing - Trusted servers
Sharing - Share by mail
Sharing - Federated Teams
Theming
Assistant - Artificial Intelligence
Groupware
Team folders
Logging
the only relevant GH issue I find quickly is fix(provisioning_api): Allow group details access for users with admin delegation by nfebe ¡ Pull Request #53275 ¡ nextcloud/server ¡ GitHub - at least it looks like it is intended
admin group was the only one user canât assign. (based on my tests on v32).
As i saw, these field was present on v32 but no more on v33 now.
@jtr you have a v33 nextcloud with this field present ?
