Administration privileges, sharing for group? Sharing via link?

Hi,
under Settings / Administration / Administration privileges, I have enabled sharing for group xy
But a user in group xy can’t share.
What is wrong?

Under Settings / Administration / Sharing, it is enabled “Allow users to share via link and email”
But users can’t share. :thinking:
What is wrong?

And the option “Generating system report”, can’t create share:
Generating system report failed. Could not share file "2022-08-05.md". Nevertheless, you can find it in the folder "System information".

Make sure you’ve setup the correct permissions and owners on your NC folders

Btw: go to mentioned folder, open mentioned file and copy/paste it’s content to here

  1. Which permissions? On server OS level , or somewhere in NC?

Where is your NC folder located? It depends upon your installation.

It ( and all subdirectories) should belong to your webuser (seemingly www-data). Permissions are 755

Within your NC folder there should be another folder called “System information”. maybe you’re gonna find some interesting file there
