Is this the first time you’ve seen this error?: Yes
Can you reliably replicate it? (If so, please outline steps): Yes
The issue you are facing:
I noticed the Auditing / Logging app wasn’t activated. That’s strange I thought becuase I can read the logs going to admin/logging. I activated it thinking I would get some more info.
Now, when I visit the page admin/logging I get the dreaded spinning wheel. Deactivating the Auditing / Logging app doesn’t help. Everything seemed to be going 100% on this installation, but looks like I borked it.
The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:
nginx error log
upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: x.x.x.x, server: my.nexcloud-server.com, request: “GET /apps/logreader/get?offset=0&count=50 HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock”, host: “my.nexcloud-server.com”
tail -f nextcloud.log doesn’t show anything when error occurs.
