Admin deleting an user deletes also its data... but nothing in admin bin?

Hi,

I think all info is in the subject.
Is there a mean to recover the data ? How is it possible to delete an user preserving its data (for example a person leaving the company) ?
Additional info: for test purpose, this user was admin at the begin before switching it to normal user.

As a user in nextcloud 18 go to settings and sharing. There you can choose folder/folders to transfer to a new user. Earlier versions you had to export the user data before and then upload to a new user.

If you just delete the user the data will be gone.
