Adding new nextcloud users to a team does not allow them to see collective shared with team

Hi there. I’m an admin on a NextCloud server, but not the person who installed it. I’m not sure how to get information about the OS, Web Server, or PHP version from within NextCloud…

Nextcloud version (eg, 29.0.5): [Nextcloud Hub 8] (29.0.1)
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 29.04): ?
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): ?
PHP version (eg, 8.3): ?

The issue you are facing:

When adding a new user to NextCloud, they are added to a default Team. This team is supposed to have access to a collective created by one of the users on said Team. However, new users (added last week) do not have access to the collective. Past users do.

I haven’t been able to figure out if there’s something different about the previously registered users (last one was 3 months ago) and the new ones that would allow them to access the Collective.

All users have the correct access to Files, Calendar, Mail, etc.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y):

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Create a new user on NextCloud
  2. Click the Collectives icon
  3. Expected result: The team’s collective should be displayed.
  4. Actual result: No collective is displayed. The “Create Collective” button is displayed.

Is there something we can do to grant access to the collective to everyone on the team? Or should the owner of the collective grant access to each new individual as they register?

The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

This is partial - I had one of the new users click on a link into a collective to see if we could capture an error about access, but no dice.
