Ability to mute other users just for one self

Hello @all,

It would be great if you would be able to mute another user just for yourself. I’ll give you an example:

We do have a “online stammtisch” because of the corona pandemic. We are 4 users but two of us are in the same room. So i can hear my girlfriend not only directly but a second later in my headphones. So, it would be really really great to mute her just for me. As far as i know, at the moment i can only mute her for all. But this is not what would help in this case.

So, would this be possible or is there any technical restriction which blocks such a function? Or am i the only one with such a situation. I think the same thing could be good to have when you sit with your colleague in the same room and you have to be in the same meeting.

What do you think about it?

Indeed, I need the same thing, for the very same reason: multiple users sitting in the same room.
