A daily Task disappears after a few appointments

Hello, Im Thomas. I use TASKS regularly - daily, weekly, yearly and of course single tasks. Normally I have no problems, but in one case I have a daily job, that disappears, after one or two appointments. I organised it as “daily”. I have only this one as daily, so it can be, that this is always in case of “daily tasks”. Are ther more probs of this kind? Is there a way to solve?
At the moment I try to avoid it with a “personal repeat” and use “pesonal” and “every 1 day”. Maybe it helps.
Greetings. Happy new years eve.

It sounds like you’re experiencing a bug with the “daily” task feature. To resolve this, your workaround of using “personal repeat” with a custom “every 1 day” setting could help. If the issue persists, it might be worth checking for app updates or clearing the cache. If it continues to happen, you could reach out to the support team for assistance in resolving this recurring task glitch.

Hello everybody, it seems to help to use this workaround like descriptive. Greetings Thomas

Rejoiced too soon. Today, after 5 days, the daily task set using this detour has also disappeared. :frowning:

OK, thanks to the guys from hosting.de. It seems that repetitive tasks are not part of the server side function. I’m confused about that because I did not thought, that this could be the simple reason. I think it should be part of the system, because it’s part of live. :frowning: And at the moment it seems to bee a clear benefit from microsoft and google.

The server side can handle the information of repetitive tasks very well.
The tasks app does not have the feature for it.

Personally I use app “Reminders” to set repetitive tasks.

Somebody has to spend time to implement it. Maybe you?

OK, thanks. I’ll check reminders. But I have used task.org and it works very well with google in that point. So I thought it would work with nextcloud, too. But I could not find a option in tasks in nextcloud online to set daily tasks. BTW: I’m able to do a lot of things, but not that. :-))

You mean tasks.org ,or?

According to their docs it should work with Nextcloud as well.

Yes and yes. But I used it and lost the repetitive tasks after a few days. The crazy thing: It worked for a few days well. I read, that others hat the same problem and solved it with moving the daily tasks to the next day, when done. This can be a way to handle, but not the best for mother’s spoiled son.
