Unraid, Nextcloud, and what the hell is a Cron?

I tried to get the Linuxserver docker for Nextcloud working on UNRAID but was unsuccessful. I realized their docker uses NGINX which is not officially supported. All the docs refer to Apache, so I’m choosing another container or even a VM with straight install.

Yea, I figured that out as well. There are just enough differences between the manual and the Linuxserver deployment to drive you crazy. I would hope the official docker follows the manual a little closer.

Was this ever resolved as cron isn’t working for me on nextcloud (knex666 version in the apps section) in unraid and running into the same head ache.
Strange thing is one day one I could see it refreshing often to no longer that 5mins. One day two it now says:
“Some jobs have not been executed since a day ago. Please consider increasing the execution frequency”

I’m doing this https://forums.unraid.net/topic/88504-support-knex666-nextcloud/?do=findComment&comment=822737
Using the “User scripts” plugin on nextcloud.

It looks like you found a solution you are content with, but if you wanted to revisit this, I might have an answer to your user problem.

I, too, am running this on unRAID and I share many of the same experiences you’ve had with trying to follow the instructions in the official manual and responses from user posts and wondering why these commands or instructions don’t work for me.

In the post I link here, you will see that I removed the user parameter from the docker command and it worked. I don’t know why and I’m not going to ask. All I know is that the first time I it sat there for a long time, because my cron hadn’t run for a much longer time than yours. Now it runs in a blink every 5 minutes.
