Successfully installed @morph027 s package on Mint 18.1
You just can add the debian repo. There’s no content specific for any distribution, it’s just a re-pack of release tarball as deb package. No dependencies, no scripts being called, just an archive 
Just send an email to packagecloud.io, if i can get an open source subscrition to provide flawless access to packages…I’ll let you know.
Thanks, now i am wondering when the repository gets updated and i do an apt-get install nextcloud and it updates everything that it maintains the config en data directory like the official repository from owncloud.
I guess i am gonna have to test it out to be sure.
As the config file does not belong to the deb archive, it won’t get touched. It’s just the files.

If any wont to tray Nextcloud (server/client) on Debian 8 Jessie just add my repository and enjoy.

There is no official package from debian. But @ivaradi provided a package via opensuse: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ivaradi//Debian_8.0/

OK… I’ve been making a mistake of adding the repo to sources.list, instead of a separate list in sources.list.d. I never understood why two places for same purpose
But anyway; it’s same thing: Unable to locate a package. Not much more in logs…
Thanks to community members who have taken time to put together deb files, etc. for those of us who prefer to install this way. And also for sharing your work!
I am on Debian testing branch however, and so when I tried installing nextcloud-client using @ijurisic repository, I couldn’t get it to work. I even tried simply changing “jessie” to “testing” in the sources.list file, but that didn’t work. Aptitude and apt-get both gave me some dependency errors.
I didn’t try @morph027 repository, but assumed that same behavior would happen.
Would it be too much trouble to ask for a repository for testing branch of Debian?
Could you post the output of dependency problems?

I assumed this was because of conflict between testing branch that I am running, and jessie branch that was listed in repo, but I am no expert.
Happy to provide any additional info if needed.
I don’t have Testing repository, atm have only Jessie and Stretch will bi add today. I will be notifiy You when add to repository.

Debian testing has libqt5keychain1, so we could just add libqt5keychain0 or libqt5keychain1
Hey guys! Not to be a pest, but, any progress on this? 
EDIT: I’m learning GNU/Linux as fast as I can, but I’m not to the point of putting together repositories (yet) so any help greatly appreciated.
As it is, I keep having to log in to Windoze to sync. If I didn’t have to sync my files, I would never log in there any more.
I rebuild repository and now support Jessie and Stretch.
Add in /etc/apt/sources.list
For Jessie:
deb http://apt.jurisic.org/debian/ jessie main contrib non-free
For Stretch:
deb http://apt.jurisic.org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free
Keyring:
wget -q http://apt.jurisic.org/Release.key -O- | apt-key add -
If wont to install nextcloud client, simple do:
apt-get update
apt-get install nextcloud-client
also for nextcloud server:
apt-get update
apt-get install nextcloud-server
