[Solved] Lost data directory during update

Nextcloud version (eg, 10.0.2): 12.0.0
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 16.04): debian sid
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): apache2 2.4.25-3
PHP version (eg, 5.6): 7.0.16-3
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error?:
yes
Can you reliably replicate it? (If so, please outline steps):

The issue you are facing:
I lost my data directory and the backup during a manual upgrade (by being stupid)
what is the best way to proceed?
I created a data dir to replace it and that got populated like this:
http://paste.debian.net/933528/
I cannot log in to the browser though, the login button does not react at all.
Not sure the failure to log into the browser and the new data dir are even connected.

The output of your Nextcloud log in Admin > Logging:

The output of your config.php file in /path/to/nextcloud (make sure you remove any identifiable information!):

http://paste.debian.net/933529/

The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____:
http://paste.debian.net/933531/

Solved. Solution for me is in my last post on (SOLVED) Nextcloud 12: Login button not working
