Password missing

Hello,

I have a problem with my Administrator account. I forgot my password refusing to write it down somewhere. Nextcloud was installed using Filezilla, I only made edits in the main settings in the account, the recovery email was not set.

What could be the solutions for changing the password? I have to mention that I don’t want to reinstall Nextcloud.

Do you have also shell access. Then read this.

I tried, but the server rejected me. Here’s the message:

“Permission denied (publickey).”

Ok then read this. Maybe you can set in your MariaDB (e.g. with PHPMyAdmin, …) the email of the admin user. Also you must configure correct mailing in config/config.php to reset the password.
