NCP update led to not initialized Nextcloud

Hi,

I managed to update my Nextcloud, after the previous try removed all my data. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be initialized. The files in the data directory are still there, but when I try to connect to it in the browser I get this:

I still have the backup from the install process, but how do I use it without deleting all files. I couldn’t find a good explanation how the backup gets restored. Is there a step by step guide somewhere and what to think of? I remember that I tried it once and it removed my whole data directory which takes forever to extract from the backup (quite big).

I appreciate any help, thank you!

Maybe this is going to help you: How to restore NextcloudPi Backup

You find stuff like that at docs.nextcloudpi.com

Thank you for the link. I read it quickly and I think my situation is different. In my case the backup is roughly 15GB big, while my actual data directory has 2,8 TB. My assumption is, that it only contains the database and maybe preview images or something like that?
If I would import it now, it would delete the data directory and replace it with emptiness, right?
