Moving data directory with symblinks

Operating system and version: GNU/Linux Debian 12 stable
Apache version: 2.4.57-2
PHP version: 8.2.7

I have the NC directory in /var/www/nextcloud which is in a partition of an SDD disk

I would like to move the data folder to another partition on a larger hard drive

Could I move it and create a symbolic link?
