Hi!

I finally installe nextcloud, everything is ready, but i keep getting this notification on new user accs:

Invalid private key for encryption app. Please update your private key password in your personal settings to recover access to your encrypted files.```

Please first verify if you really need and want server side encryption. It does not secure your data on the server because the key is also stored on the server. It secures data on external storage e.g. object storage at secondary hoster like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, …

Hi, i don’t want server side encryption, i didn’t even enable it.

Can you test. Perhaps it does work.

sudo -u www-data php /path/to/nextcloud/occ encryption:disable

You must use the correct command and path. Read this.
Your path is perhaps /var/www/html/nextcloud/occ
