Yepā¦ I have a not completely conform port of ubuntu 14.04 with a little bit older kernel.
This is specific to the odroid-xu board.
Each board generation have its specificity and problemsā¦ this is because samsung donāt give all the specs of their SoC.
But, I never had any problem on the ubuntu distrib yet. As I could see till now, all the packages have been ported, Hardkernel did an impressive job.
And, as I could read, things are going better and better with their Odroid-X4 and Odroid-C2 boards.
The ubuntu releases are based on a ātry-ofā standardisation port of linux called Linaro:
Frankly, it is not a fighter aircraft (as we use to say in france 
) but I am impressed by the odroid-xu processing power for the cost in power and bucksā¦ I wonder what it can be with a XU4.
