I’m thinking about creating a new base for my Nextcloud installation and i wonder here :
What is the preferred installation method ?
Apache 2 or Nginx

I recommend Apache, because based on experience using Nginx many problems occur when using Nginx, apart from that Apache is also a recommendation from Nextcloud.

Experience with a web server and the personal preference plays an important role.
Many are using nginx without problems. With the provided configuration in the documentation, it shouldn’t be hard to set up either, perhaps Apache is a bit more plug and play. Performance-wise, I haven’t seen direct comparisons.
