I downloaded NCP docker with this command: docker pull ownyourbits/nextcloudpi-x86
So I wonder if I can use an ngrock docker image or should I simply install it in the machine, outside the docker.

Both is possible. I would prefer docker. I have seen docker images for ngrok on github, so it should be easy to set up

I would also prefer dockers but have not found a ngrock image. There is https://hub.docker.com/r/ngrok/postgres but I don’t know if it can be fine

be advised that that’s just another way to make a tunnel.

if you can’t have a tunnel, you can’t use ngrok
