The current version of the Passwords app for NC 32 is LSR 2025.10.10. This is due to a bug in NC 32 that causes the dependency injection to crash when loading some internal PHP classes. The LSR version is an automated backport to a PHP version where these classes didn’t exist so it doesn’t trigger the issue.
Usually the app can be downgraded by simply replacing the folder in “apps“ or “custom_appps“ and running the maintenance command or by uninstalling it and re-installing it from the store.
But you (and all the other folks) was warned. At least if you would have beforhand taken a look into the Admin Overview page before starting any Updates:
It clearly states there is no compatible Version for Passman available for NC 32.0.1.
So everybody was free to decide to forego Passman or wait with Update until a compatioble Version ist availabe for Passman
It does not matter. It shows all apps there for that are no compatible Version available. In my case its Passman. The Point is: look over there before make any updates.
If you have 30. somewhat this means for all apps are compatible versions availabe for 31. You need then to install first 31 and look there again if for all Apps a compatible version for 32 is also availabe or not. Then decide what you wanna do.
I’m not talking about v30. The Passwords app broke when upgrading from v31 to v32 with the app advsertised as compatible with v32. Please stop derailing this thread with other apps and versions that have nothing to do with this problem.
Do you have any Backup of your passwords in passwords app?
I don’t use passwords app but Passman. Passman includes an import/export function. I used the export function regulary for backups. It offers *.csv and *.json. If you have such backup as well you can at least make the passwords visible and usable again as a workaround until passwords app will be running again on your server.
I know its not a solution for the main problem, but even better then to have no access to eMails-Accounts, Internet-shops, etc.
