Recently I updated to Nextcloud 31.0 with Calendar 5.1.2. Now my date/time formats are wrong when creating or editing items in Calendar.
I did some digging and found out that the display language of Chrome is used to format date/time. It is not using the primary language set in Chrome or the locale in my Nextcloud user profile. However Nextcloud itself is using the language as set in the user profile.
This is very annoying since I am forced to use English software for business and use Nextcloud for private stuff in my native language. I hope this new behavior is just a bug that can be resolved.
Hello there @FraddyNL,
you started a topic in development category. This category is intended for active developers of the core or apps in the Nextcloud ecosystem.
From the description in your topic, it is not clear if you are seeking help and advice about a concrete problem you have or you want to actually develop the corresponding solution.
Please specify explicitly the required information to help you best. These are:
- What you want to achieve
- What you have done so far
- What is failing
- What you expect from the forum community
Without additional information the community members cannot help you in an efficient manner. Please keep in mind that the help here in the forum are mostly based on work of volunteers and thus it is just fair to reduce the burden on them.
If you accidentally posted in the category, just give a hint and a moderator can move the corresponding category.

Sorry, I am new here and still need to find my way.
I consider this a bug in nc31 or the Calendar app.
Please move my topic to the appropiate category.
